WHY I have been expressing myself through writing since I could hold a pencil. For so long my writing was my private therapy, near and dear and for my eyes only. Now, with over 25 completed journals on my shelf and many, many articles, poems, and short stories saved in my computer, I felt it time to share my heart and mind with the masses. My true hope is that my experiences and opinions touch others and spark conversation, love, empowerment, and change that is beneficial.

HOW As life happens, I write! Topics ranging from politics to education, family and love, and much more, when the need to document my thoughts taps my shoulder, I obey. Whether "off the cuff" or researched, I write from the authenticity of my soul. Passion guides my pen and betterment qualifies my content. People matter to me and this life has been full of magical ways for me to show and prove that.
